Dr. Energy Saver Charlotte is the local Dr. Energy Saver serving parts of North and South Carolina. They specialize in home insulation, heating, cooling, and other energy efficient solutions.
They are a third generation business that originally started out as a small sheet metal shop and metal roofing company. W. Fred Long opened the business in 1927 and later passed it to his son Ronald J. Long, Sr. in 1971, who passed it to his sons Steven and Joel in 2005.
As the company expanded over the years, they took to duct fabrication, commercial roofing, and commercial and residential HVAC. Because HVAC is the largest percentage of energy used in homes, they thought it was a natural progression to add an energy related division to the business.
